Fantastic rehearsal in Orlando - you guys really are sounding amazing and blending so well - as is Tampa - just keep on working hard and listening to your Cd's and start spreading the news about our upcoming concerts in May. To our vocal coaches - good job fellas.
Tonight I have had amazing fun with Sing Live Brazil - what an amazing and dedicated group of girls - we were singing Garota de Ipanema and Samba de Una Nota - and another one I dare not even try to spell - OK so shoot me down - I tried!! - thank goodness for Sarita! - and a totally amazing full page spread in the Orlando Brazilian newspaper here - it really is only a matter of time till the new kids on the block company takes off - and my next educational goal is to learn Portuguese - yes girls we will go to Rio or Sau Paulo and sing in the carnival!!
And I am now proud and privileged to wear the gold and blue 'R' badge after my induction - and yes I had to stand and raise my right hand and swear to the code of Ethics - good practice for swearing the Oath of Allegiance which will come in time and yes it did bring a lump to my throat. Trouble is one of the Ethics is I have to keep my car clean. To quote another John -'Are you serious?'
Still on tenterhooks

An early start today. Have just emailed the Elevator Gang the links to the UK Sky News website so they can monitor the airspace status - watch your emails - its gonna be tight as things are changing hourly. Today I have to fix the Orlando audition dates for the upcoming concert at Shirley's Church, finalize details for Orlando's performance at Relay for Life on the 30th April, sort out a backlog of paperwork here and try and clear my desk, wash iron ( a woman's work is never done!) and start to think about getting over to the UK for The Night of 1000 Voices - but first an early start as today this English Immigrant ( from Texas) becomes a little more American as it is my induction into the USA National Association of Realtor's. Then tonight an early pre rehearsal meeting and looking forward to rehearsals in Orlando and seeing Dirk.
Then its odds on there may be a short visit to a famous place to unwind a little!
Welcome to my debut blog

It's great to be here!
I will be blogging to you on a daily basis - hopefully in American with a little bit of English thrown in - and bringing you up to date with everything that is happening and being planned in Sing Live USA.
It has been a hectic weekend with rehearsals last Saturday for our upcoming trip the London to sing in The Night of 1000 Voices at the Royal Albert Hall with the most memorable finale with the entire Sing Live USA - all 10 of us enjoying the closeness of a bonding session - by being stuck in my elevator for an hour. SO the Elevator Gang is born! Today has been computer work reworking the International tour info pack to suite our tour to the UK - and checking on the no go area that is UK flying space to find out what our chances of getting there are - system meetings with Jeri and Kevin this afternoon - and have just got back from a fantastic rehearsal in Tampa - hence a late blog.
I will be adding photos - when I can figure out how !
